Safe Streets Working Group
A group of Wakefield residents has formed a Safe Streets Working Group (SSWG) to contribute their knowledge and vision to building a community that is friendly to walkers and bikers, as well as motor vehicles. This is not an official government committee. It is currently chaired by John Crisley with input from the community and public officials, like me. I am proud to have played a small part in launching this group, particularly as the town embarks on major street repair and revitalization plans.
Until the SSWG has its own website, I have offered to host their work here. To be added to their mailing list for information on upcoming meetings and initiatives, please add your name to my mailing list and check "Safe Streets Working Group" as your interest.
